I’m so excited to finally share with you a project I have been working in for the last few months. I have recorded 5 new mastered guided meditations for Loose Women host Andrea McLean’s wonderful website for women, This Girl is On Fire!

When we go through our toughest times, we can sit and wonder if we will ever feel better, happy again. 
But tragedy and suffering can bring us the wisest of lessons. In my own life, I have had many curve balls thrown at me. Some have been so hard for a while they have knocked me off my feet and I have had to really fight to get back up. 

I’m on a mission, a mission to restore confidence in those who need it. Part of my work is with young people, and it’s a privilege and a joy. But I find myself deeply troubled by the lack of confidence and self esteem in so many of them.

Today are two “official” days. It’s Blue Monday today and it’s Hugging Day. It’s seems to me that one should cancel out the other actually. Blue Monday was recognised back in 2015 by a travel show. It’s is meant to be the bluest day of the year, in the depths of January and Winter. 

I love a pop of colour somewhere and as I use only natural make-up and mostly browns and neutral shades, a touch of colour from my nail varnish always does the trick, especially as it’s sandal weather!

We had the most amazing wedding on the 19th May with Megan and Harry, which the world celebrated and that thankfully gave us some cultural diversity in our Royal family!

What Vidal Sassoon is to hair, Manolo Blahnik to shoes and Coco Chanel to Haute Couture, Shavata Singh is to eyebrows. Our Beautiful Women’s section was created to inspire women by interviewing other inspirational women, and Shavata in unquestionably an inspiration!

Once in a while a book comes along that can change your life and we think we’ve found that very book - Mad Diet. Don’t be fooled by the title, its author Suzanne Lockhart isn’t another health guru peddling yet another new diet. 

What an amazing week we’ve had with the sunshine finally coming out. I spent the most amazing few days in Whitstable in Kent in my Caravan with my family. My husband and my children were swimming in the sea, believe it or not !!!!

I first met Michelle about 20 years ago, when I was working in London. Back then, there were many nights filled with laughter, fun and frolics! Michelle was the impossibly glamorous girl, who never failed to make an entrance with her gorgeous looks.

For the past 16 years, my little doses of retail therapy have nearly always involved a wonderful independent boutique in Suffolk.
