Beautiful Realisation

Beautiful Realisation - Once upon a time, a man who lived alone heard a knock on the door. A police officer stood in front of him and told him there was a storm coming. She offered the man a lift in her car as he should leave and find a safe place before the water was inevitably going to rise. The man thanked her but being a man of strong beliefs turned down her offer. “Don’t worry about me”. He said “I will pray and my God will save me!”

A few hours past and the storm had indeed begun to make an appearance. The rain was heavy and the water was beginning to consume the ground floor of the mans house. Trusting he would be saved he went up to his first floor and waited and prayed. Shortly, a second police officer in a small dingy called up to the man and warned him that the waters would continue to rise and offered him a lift in his boat. “Thank you, but Im a true believer and my God will rescue me!”

Still the waters continue to rise, and the man was left with no option but to sit on his roof. A helicopter hovers above and a ladder is dropped to the man. “No no, I will be fine! My God will save me!”, says the man. The helicopter reluctantly departs, the water continues to rise and sadly the man drowns.

When the man arrives at heaven he is shocked, and asks God “why didn’t you save me?”. God replied, “I tried, I sent you a car, a boat, and a helicopter, but you didn’t listen”.

Sometimes the things that we need the most are right under our noses. Signs, signals, love, help and so much more. Life doesn’t have to be as hard as you may think it is. I believe it should be easy and happiness and love is available to those who choose to see it and listen to it. Speak less, listen more and really see the world more beautifully. #inspiration
