Concealers
As we get older, the skin on our face generally gets thinner and we may lose weight on our face. Due to lack of sleep and thinning skin, most of us tend to notice the appearance of dark circles under the eye. Over the years, I’ve used hundreds of different concealers to tackle the issue, but my favourite is Wild About Beauty - for its incredible creamy texture that doesn’t accentuate the fine lines. Cover FX have an incredible palette with three different shades that can be blended and mixed to suit your skin tone during every season; this is a celebrity favourite. I also recommend Bobbie Brown, for its coverage and for the wonderful range of colours.
Concealers tend to have more pigment and are slightly heavier in consistency to foundations but look for ones that are not too drying - as these tend to drag the skin. Choose a colour that is slightly lighter than the skin tone on the rest of your face. And if possible, try it in daylight. I apply it after my moisturiser and before foundation or tinted moisturiser; lightly to the area under the eye. Pat it on using your fingers and blend it in. Apply a little High Definition (HD) or translucent powder over your concealer to set it after you apply foundation or tinted moisturiser. I like to use a sponge to do this rather than a powder puff or brush.
