Beautiful Breakthrough

Beautiful Breakthrough - Are you aware of your limiting beliefs? What is holding you back from what you want in your life? If you could let go of your negative beliefs and fears about yourself, what would your life look like? The notion that we are in some way “not good enough” keeps us stuck in life. It can prevent us from reaching what we desire, our dreams and goals.

Or perhaps it’s those beliefs that have been passed on to you from others too, the “you can’t do that because.....” belief? If this is you, your mind is limiting your adventures in life, but the good news is, there are many ways you can change how you think and feel. It’s just a matter of some rewiring.

Try this NLP technique, it can help do just that. Close your eyes and imagine looking in a mirror at yourself. See the reflection of the person you see and feel today. Note all the negative feelings you have about yourself. Visual that image as a picture or photo on a piece of paper. Now imagine holding it in your left hand. Now, imagine standing in front of the mirror and seeing the you that you want to be. The you that has not been restricted by those beliefs about yourself. Perhaps you see yourself in the perfect job, looking healthier, happier...perhaps simply feeling loved. Hold this image in your right hand.

Now begin to “swish” the pictures. Bring the first photo up in front of you (the one on your left hand) and imagine tossing it into the horizon. Watch how it’s vivid colours become grey and then the photo disappears.

Then bring the photo from your right hand up in front of your face and see it really clearly in full technicolour. Begin to repeat this over and over, move your hands while you are doing it. Once you have got into the flow of this begin to speed the process up. Try to do this until you start to notice a shift. It may happen straight away or after a two or three times. #changeyourmindset
